The Full Suite, Fully Comfortable
The Fernsby 3 Seater Manual Recliner is the centrepiece of the Fernsby range — a large, deeply cushioned sofa that puts comfort firmly ahead of every other consideration.
At 210cm wide, it provides genuine three-seat reclining space, with the outer seats each reclining independently via pull-handle mechanisms on the side arms. The middle seat remains upright as a fixed position, providing a comfortable central seat that allows both reclined occupants their full space without interference.
Grey or Natural — Different Rooms, Same Comfort
Grey positions the Fernsby as a versatile contemporary statement — its mid-tone woven texture brings depth and substance to modern living rooms and works well alongside darker accent pieces and statement rugs.
Natural creates a completely different atmosphere: lighter, softer, and more relaxed, it suits open-plan spaces, rooms with good natural light, and interiors that lean toward Scandi or coastal styling. The chunky woven polyester is the same in both — tactile, hard-wearing, and noticeably premium to the touch.
Construction That Goes the Distance
Pocket springs sit at the base of each seat section, topped with foam and fibre filling that provides immediate plushness alongside the structural support that keeps the sofa looking and feeling right over time. The 105cm tall back ensures genuine head and neck support in the reclined position — a detail that separates serious recliner furniture from sofas that merely tip back.
For a complete collection, the matching armchair and 2 seater are available in both colourways. Browse our manual recliner sofas and chairs collection, or explore our reclining sofas range for further options.
Sofa Care
Your sofa cushion bears the brunt of day-to-day use, you make your bed daily and your sofa needs the same attention. In order to keep them looking and feeling at their best, we recommend the following:
- Cushions tend to flatten over time, this is a normal part of wear and tear. By plumping your sofa cushions regularly, you can extend their life and keep them looking fuller for longer. Foam cushions require plumping at least once a week. Fibre cushions require more frequent attention to keep them looking their best, we recommend daily.
- Vacuum regularly to remove dust using a brush attachment. Clean the fabric with a damp cloth if necessary. Do not over-wet the fabric and allow it to dry fully before use. Do not use strong liquid cleaners. Test any cleaning products on an inconspicuous area first. We recommend professional cleaning of all cushion covers.
